You can also /ignore users and when you (mozilla.org) have control over

It's sad how Firefox is almost unusable now for me..
- stupid preferences UI
- kill many easily accssible add-ons from the toolbar by banning them
   into the right top corner
- no longer show the protocol in the urlbar
- no longer show the main menu
- removed stuff from the right click menu

The plan is to discontinue 2.49 after 2.49.5. 2.49.5 is more or less at ESR 
60.2. Further backporting is too costly right now.
I am now somehwere around ESR60.3 with 2.53 and some patches up to current 
trunk are in to. Looking what is missing wrt l10n to get this into release 
shape after 2.49.5.


Imho overall the source is in better shape than it ever was. It is just not 
enough because you are working against people who don't care and rip out what 
they don't like. They may call it a plan. I don't.

I am concerned that there have been no security updates to comm-esr52
since feb or so. Firefox esr has moved on several places since then.
Maybe none of these apply to the SM code? Maybe SM has others which
don't apply to firefox?

I normally use Firefox because it's the 'best of the rest', but it has been
'doctored' for no good reason and spoiled as a result.
If only SM was available on Android I would use it like a shot.



it is a pity that i cannot use *SM* on my /iPAD/, i have only 32GBytes of flash 
memory...

Agreed.
