We becoming sluggish in windows file explorer

I am using we 9.1 on windows 8.1 64 bit. Yesterday and today i was doing stuff in file explorer and notice we is becoming super sluggish when i am trying to use it, sometimes so badly i have to restart we. I thought maybe it could be the tts i was using but i tried every voice i have on my laptop

After I manually stop total recorder (it will not shut down by itself) I have to go into the sound scheme and use the combo box and go to the last one -- I do it all the time and don't have any problems -- and I do have system sounds off in total recorder in case Windows chimes or something.

Hi, Am having real problems here. Wineyes 9 works fine or seems to be working fine on my xp sp3 machine but I can't get it out of the registration process. By that I mean that it is in 30 minute mode. I've tried registering window eyes and this doesn't seem to have done anything. What can I do
