This might mean that you can enter Hebrew in braille without any real effort.
Don't know if Window-eyes itself supports Hebrew, whether it relies on
Microsoft or in general - how multilingual versions work. Could be exciting
though!

Hello. At the moment, Window-Eyes is sort of behind on braille support. What I
mean is that it lacks grade 2 contracted braille input but I think the braille

contracted braille in Window-Eyes is coming soon. I use
Tom,
Well, I'll trade you oops's. The effect I used to perform expansion was the
graphic pulldown in the Dynamics item, not the Wave Hammer, so you were right.
It actually has a noise gate preset as well. One can think of a noise gate as
very sharp expansion, so it isn't out of the realm of

I was not aware one could nudge the markers, but it makes sense as one is just
extending the selection area. Perhaps I need to explore how one can adjust the
Noise Gate as well, but I didn't think I could get to where I wanted to go with
that. Thanks for the info.

Steve,
Yes, the Dynamics use graphs while the Noise gate is a simple expander.
The I and O in and out points are just markers. You can do the same
thing with markers you insert with M. For example, press M for the in
point and again for the out point. Now Control-Shift-Left to select from

I made the switch from Outlook 2003 to 2016 and have been fighting
with 3 months. In my opinion the 2016 version which I am running on
Windows 7 64 bit stinks. Might be better when MS decides to fix it.
I recommend sticking with 2003 to keep your blood pressure down.
Jim
do you have the use of graphics turned off?
open the eset screen then press f5 for the setup screen and look for use of
graphics and turn them off.

Tom,
I did manage a two to one expansion using a graph, but perhaps I am wrong about
which feature I used. I'll look when I get home. I was trying to achieve a
two to one expansion to approximate decoding a DBX encoded recording. I had to
add equalization as well, of course.

Hi Chris,
I'm just curious. I have a question about the insert-F10. I tried to

did, but all the JAWS list of keystrokes on their website said was
"Windows List,"
And a tutorial on JAWS presented it as an alternative to

Steve,
I never use the graphic EQ. So I have no comment on that.
But regarding the Wave Hammer? It has only a compressor and maximizer.
For an expander go to Effects, Noise gate.

Hey Rod,
Sorry but I'm not aware of anything that will do what you're looking

just looping through your soundcard and going right back out the output.
There are all kinds of limiter/compressor/expander/normalizer boxes out
Every now and then, I get an alert on my screen with buttons to take action or

I'd just say move cursor once, use, i, and o, of course, :) (use to be
left and right bracket years ago) and it should not stick, except from
the end of document.

I don't know if this would be of any help with 11, but in SF 7 (yes, still
using it), I move to the end of what Forge believes to be selected with the End
key and right Arrow one time. That clears the markers. This assumes there is
data after the selection end point.
HTH,
Steve
This doesn't help, but it's reassuring that others have this problem
with markers too. My sighted wife, who has no experience with this
stuff, tells me it just looks as if nothing is selected, so what happens
to the marker commands? Yes, being able to clear them would be a great
start.

Tom,
Other than my possibly irrelevant observation regarding choosing the

still able to use with Sound Forge 11. I do occasionally have trouble when

Reg,
I am interested in understanding the equalizer business better. Which
version of Sound Forge are you using? I have noticed the equalizer issue
with versions 10 and 11, although, as I have said, I am able to click the
10-band option and then it works as before. I did not need to do this
Hi Tom, and perhaps others might have some insight as well,
