you're using. There is no standard for opening attachments.

I think it depends on your e-mail program. I do alt-m, followed by the
letter h, then arrow down to "open."

Hi all,
Could someone please tell me how to open an attachment in an email? I am
using Windows 7 and Window Eyes next to last version. Thanks.

If the Eloquence you purchased for NVDA is SAPI 5 complient, just set it
in the Window-eyes synthesizer menu as sapi and find the voice in the

If not, you can email wesupp...@aisquared.com and they can get your

On most laptops, yes it is. My insert key is second from the right.

Where is the insert key on the number row at the top of the key board? Is it
one of the 3 keys on the extreme top right of the row?

Listers,
Perhaps some of you are more into this, and could advice me for a second.
I have a certain website that I often check, to get latest news on a
particular matter. On the website, i find a button that says
"Subscribe". This sounds nice, if I could somehow subscribe to the news

Yep, that’s exactly what they did.
Even if you just press Enter on Window-Eyes from the desktop or start menu,
Window-Eyes will reload. Great when you want to run Window-Eyes as an
administrator—you have speech through the whole process.

need a new keyboard. If you said that already, sorry. I just quickly

I think what they did was to allow the use of the Windows short-cut key,
even when window-eyes was running.
Window-eyes used to say window-eyes is already running when you hit the
control-alt-w, but now it restarts window-eyes instead.
The hot key still must be defined somewhere, and when
Steve,
Thanks for this. I was looking for the same thing.
I read the quick start and I think I am woefully too ignorant to use this.
I don't think I could even get this installed much less use it.
Glad to know that it exists though! Maybe when I get smarter about JAWS and
scripting I can use it.
Hi,
If you are using fn-caps lock-f12. then the guy at the shop didn't turn
off the fn key.

With any screen reader and combos, just press Alt Down Arrow to open them

Hi,
It can be either insert, but the default is the insert key on the number
row, not the six pack.
The pass through key is Insert-3.
