: Update Warning
Hi Dennis:
If you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 and don't want to be forced to upgrade to
Windows 10, this program will stop the automatic download and installation
of Windows 10 and also let you know if the "Get Windows 10" app is present
and let you remove those things.

Hi.
I was one of those who went from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 the day it was
released, but I had some issues with this PC. Elloquence would get stuck on a
phoneme, and the only way to fix it was to turn the PC off and back on again.
Even worse, the PC would randomly reboot itself. I ended

I just can't figure out why so many are afraid of Windows 10. You can
update to windows 10 for free until July 17 of this year. After that,
it will cost $100.00. Windows 10 is much faster and more secure that
Windows 7 and easier to use and faster than windows 8 and 8.1.
Bob, K8LR,
Yes, I have heard it comes back. They are really trying to push it on us.

That was probably a good thing to do. I haven't followed this thread
very closely, but to prevent this windows 10 thing from happening again,
you'll want to use something called GWX control panel. Note it's not a
product made by GW Micro or AI squared, it's just got a similar name.
