Speaking of scripting, there is a marvelous file renaming program called batch
rename utility. A good bit of this speaks with any screen reader. But because
there are approximately 13 category boxes on the screen, the box names could
use a bit of enhancement to clarefy the type of action

Hi all,
I recently received an error report from a user of HotWind (thank you). The
user is unknown to me, so I'll just let this list know that the problem has
now been fixed.
The problem was that I was making use of a feature added to Window-Eyes 8.4,
and the user was using 7.5. I was
Hi Guys and Gals,
I did find the .ini file on my thumbb drive. It wasn't marked .ini,
that's why I couldn't find it. It was just called Eudora but it has all
the settings in it so I'm sure that's it. I put it in my current Eudora
but it still didn't work. All it did was to bring back that
Hi Rick,
All the offers I've had for paid scripting work have been to make some
specific program or web site accessible.
Unfortunately, some people feel that they've tried to pay for this job to be
done in the past, and the scripter required money up front, but didn't

you have to add the certificate to the trusted certificates before
eudora will continue receiving mail. that's one of the things you
have to deal with because of it not being supported anymore.

Bud, you're almost there. In Eudora, under the Tools menu, select personalities
and launch the properties dialogue for your personality. In most cases, there
will only be one, labeled Dominant.
On the first tab of the properties dialogue, select the certificate manager,
which is a tree view of
Hello. The guy who helped to set up my system installed a free program
called Office Libre. It is a free Office facsimile that is used in a
number of countries. When I open it, nothing happens; nothing on the
screen is spoken, and I can't find any menus. Does anyone else use this?
If not,
It may be that you are arrowing down or up too fast. I have found with Word
and Outlook 2013 that there is a longer pause between text lines than
previous versions, and I was arrowing too fast. Just a thought based on my
experience.

Hi, Linett.
The program you're writing about is probably LibreOffice, which is, as
you said, a free office suite. When you open the main LibreOffice
program, there are likely some options such as choices to create a
document, spreadsheet, etc. and I thought that pressing the tab key

Linette, there's a word processor called, Jarte, it's more powerful than
wordpad but less powerful than MS Word. It's somewhere in between, but very
speech friendly and best of all, it's free. I don't have the web page, but I'm
sure if you google it you will find it.

The Web site to obtain Jarte is www.jarte.com.
Essentially, it is Wordpad with a few extra features, including spell
check. There is a free version and a paid version with even more features.
