___ Talk-fr mailing list Talk-fr@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-fr

Re: [OSM-talk-nl] [Dutch] vanmiddag: gebruikersoverleg BAG
As highway does not have a dimension the landuse reusing the highway nodes means covering half of the street. Re: [Talk-cz] Pole a sloupy VN - import LPIS
I did check a bunch of stops on my street, and the NaPTAN data for Brighton and Hove looks generally good, albeit slightly displaced in areas (and the curious case of a stop registered twice, once in the wrong admin area). Interestingly, I've found that the stops on the Brighton and Hove website[1] have a different positions, in some case more accurate. Perhaps they need to be nudged into updating NaPTAN with their data. If you dig a bit, you can get the KML file for it here[2]. [OSRM-talk] Route flapping / osrm-prepare adds randomness?
Hi, i am doing QA based on calculating routes. For this i have a defined set of points (couple hundret) which i calc routes between. On length change i get a notification by email that the route has changed. Now i see routes which regularly flap between 2 different geometries and lengths without the OSM data beeing changed so i started investigating. The route flap happens irregular when osrm-prepare'ing the same germany.osm.pbf over an over. I see route flaps on same OSM data input. What i typically do (pseudo code) every 30-60 Minutes: while true; do update-germany-file-with-osmupdate osrm-extract -p car.lua germany.osm.pbf osrm-prepare -p car.lua germany.osrm restart-osrm-routed calculate-routes-and-compare-lengths done Now i disabled the step of updateing the germany.osm file and i still do see the route flaps. It seems osrm-prepare adds some randomness to graph weights. Here you can see a visual change in route. The route flapped from red to green and back just be re-preparing the very same osm.pbf file: http://osm.zz.de/routeqa/?rid=59464,59492 http://osm.zz.de/routeqa/?rid=59492,59571 Is this a known issue/side effect of the contracted hierarchies or is this expected behaviour e.g. a real bug? Re: [Talk-cz] Pole a sloupy VN - import LPIS
Chris That is disappointing to hear. My role covers the south east and east Anglia regions and we would be happy to receive feedback in relation to NaPTAN data, and we would seek to persuade relevant colleagues in individual authorities to make any necessary corrections to NaPTAN where it is significantly wrong. Resource constraints may mean that such corrections cannot be done immediately - but we would do our best to get factually incorrect information updated as soon as possible.
A confusão toda é porque as pessoas tendem a pensar no mapa concretamente, no desenho. Talvez sim, pois a guarda florestal atua lá. [Talk-pt] Árvores do Porto no OSM
Diz no artigo sobre tracks: If a path is wide enough for 4-wheel-vehicles (width 2 m), and it is not legally signposted or otherwise only allowed for pedestrians, cyclists or horseriders, it is often better tagged as a highway=track. A confusão toda é porque as pessoas tendem a pensar no mapa concretamente, no desenho. Talvez sim, pois a guarda florestal atua lá. [Talk-GB] Next Quarterly Project
It's time to move on from delivery-related things ( from looking at Robert Whitaker's graphs http://robert.mathmos.net/osm/postboxes/history/ it looks like we made a difference onpostboxes but we'll need Robert to do some more rigorous analysis). Personallly I'd like to think we can keep up some momentum on postboxes as they are a good incentive to revisit all kinds of places. This upcoming quarter being summer and the time for holidays we thought it would be a good idea to concentrate on all things tourism and tourism-related. So it's visitor attractions such as themeparks, stately homes, museums and the like; beaches; hotels, guesthouses, hostels, campsites; tourist information offices, interpration boards, tourist pedestrian guideposts; and anything else you can think of that should occupy our attention until the end of September. Napadá vás nějaké rozumné a generické řešení? -- Jiří Sedláček Sent with Airmail___ Talk-cz mailing list Talk-cz@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-cz

I'm not so bothered about 3D, but rather making it a little clearer on 2D maps that one HAS to go a particular way when the road other side of the building IS 5 stories below, and the main road is three stories below that. People who have visited Malta will know what I am saying, but following a satnav somewhere you don't know after a long flight ... it would be nice if the map warned you :) In some cases you could use embankment, natural=cliff or building=wall separating the road and the building would that work here? Cus, rozhodne zachovat.
___ Talk-it mailing list Talk-it@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-it
Re: [Talk-br] Track = via agro-florestal
Diz no artigo sobre tracks: If a path is wide enough for 4-wheel-vehicles (width 2 m), and it is not legally signposted or otherwise only allowed for pedestrians, cyclists or horseriders, it is often better tagged as a highway=track. ___ Talk-br mailing list Talk-br@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-br -- Fernando Trebien +55 (51) 9962-5409 Nullius in verba. ___ Talk-br mailing list Talk-br@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-br
