Like you, I'm using OTFE for many months and with many Beta versions and never
had any problem. So, another prove that every environment is totally different
at you can use it without installing it.
I had to rebuild my laptop recently and I only copied the TB! and mailbox
directory to my newly rebuilt system, imported the saved registry info and
voila...it's working w/o any problems. I don't think there are many email
clients available that c
xe but UPX returns an error on it:
CantPackException: compressing certificate info is not supported.
If anybody knows the reason of this error message, please react.

Apologies for answering ...you can do it with TotalCommander and the msi plugin
installed... You can easily extract the exe file from the cab file inside the
msi.exe..the only thing you have do afterwards is to rename the file from
thebat.exe.BBD4A38C
ince I'm using this program, there's only 1 day of
zero .tmp files in my Temp directory.
Now, this is actually a circumvention as why is TB leaving so many zero tmp
files behind?
