I really wish someone from RIT Labs would read this list once in a while
even outside of Beta testing. All our bug reports and suggestions, not
to mention important questions (what the hell is 1.60??), are left
completely unanswered. That's NOT the way to treat clients, and

When using the NOD32.BAV plug-in, something flashes on the screen. It
is a little too fast for me to see what it is, but it looks like the
NOD32 program.
This flash causes the focus to be changed from where I am working.
This becomes bothersome when working on a letter or even drafting
another

John,
Can't comment on your question, but I do have two related questions
for you:
1. Why do you use the NOD32 BAV instead of NOD32's own POP3 scanner?
2. Where did you get the NOD32 BAV?

Excellent questions. I should have given this information in my
original post.
JN 1. Why do you use the NOD32 BAV instead of NOD32's own POP3 scanner?
The POP3 scanner will not handle encrypted (TLS) communication with
the server.

Just installed the NOD32 BAV, and noticed it is listed as a test
version. This raises two questions which perhaps someone here can
answer: Is there any reason not to continue using the native NOD32
POP3 scanner along with this test version? I hate to trust something
this new with a mission
