That is what I have but if I have any auto fill in at all on, it
searches the name field rather than the handle. Example. If I have me
as a handle and also there is a name of Mel Jewett in the name field
with a different handle, the search will fill in with Mel Jewett and

I have just converted from using PMMAIL to THE BAT and this is one
of my most frustrating experiences with TB. In PMMAIL you can do
basically what your saying below and it works fine. I think that what
you describe is the proper operation as it works that way in all of
the mailers I have used
