In the past I had the same problem. Whenever I replied with a language
that was different from the language I used last, TB would get stuck.

a rather large disclaimer that is put onto them by Stuart's Company

That sounds like a neat way to do it. What I'm thinking is that I
could add a unique tag to the header via a macro then trash only
those. I've got plans for priority tags doing something else.
I think V2.0 allows for some custom headers via macro, doesn't it?
