Pop mail
I have been successful in downloading mail from safe-mail but unable to send. I am able to Pop3 download and send via yahoo. After contacting the techs at safe-mail they advised: Another customer of us has difficulties sending from TheBat, but finally he configured successfully. You should use the following configuration: Outgoing mail server: www.safe-mail.net This server requires secure communication: On Port: 465 This server requires authentication: On User name: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Password: You safe-mail account's password. But it isn't working. I am hoping the person who was successful is on the list and that he and others have some additional suggestions that will help me get this working. I am beginning to think they are not set up for a two-way system. The incoming mail is absolutely no problem, downloads right into TB! I just cannot send using that account. Since I am already receiving and sending yahoo using TB! it also strikes me that the problem must be at their end, not mine. I guess I will take one more stab at their technical support but I am beginning to have my doubts about this business. Re: Importing Yahoo pop mail from Netscape
Hello Jan,Gerard, and List: Please excuse this piecing together, but I currently receive these notes in the Digest format.. I suppose the original title of my note was confusing or not understood. We do have Yahoo accounts that were already setup some time ago to be received in our Netscape communicator package as POP mail. So there is currently a Large amount of yahoo mail that has previously been received via Netscape as pop mail, and is Residing within Netscape. We would like to tranfer These e-mails into TB. As I originally wrote When the Import Wizard is used it recognizes our regular isp (@home) mail accounts in Netscape, but does Not seem to do the same with the yahoo pop accounts,((within Netscape)) as they are not subsequently listed for importing. I hope this is more clear and that someone can help. Thanks, Carl Msg: #23 in digest Date: Wed, 28 Nov 2001 08:18:21 -0500 From: Jan Rifkinson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Importing Yahoo pop mail from Netscape Hello Carl.
