Hi Måns,
I'm interested by your info about the contact form.
But it seems the url you gave is probably not complete.
And I could'nt find the right template at formlogix.
Could you verify and give some details.
Thanks

When it comes to extending TW via plugins or macros... you will loose
all language customizations, ShadowStyleSheetDefaults or variable
configuration in general that you've made in the plugin tiddler when
you try to update from a non localized version.
This could be handled via repos of localized

I really like your giewiki, - I've got to try to set it up locally on
a Linux-box...
Any hints for this?

Hi, Eric.
I am using this approach and still having the same issue as the OP.
You wouldn't happen to know a way to diagnose the issue?

I'm having problems getting this to work. The TW I've created is
entirely for local use off my USB flash drive. In particular I want to
persist save backups and autosave as false, I've created the
SystemSettings tiddler which is not tagged, but still every time I
open my TW it ignores the SystemSe

Hi everyone who cares,
giewiki development is now approaching release 1.10 - new features so
far:
* Page templates can now carry a set of predefined tags as a simple
way to indicate a use pattern.
* Tiddlers can be tagged isPrivate (by the page owner only).

Hi all, thanks for your input.
Eric, good call, I imported the MapMaker part of your plugin into the
theme to make editing easier.
Mario, roger on all of that! Made changes as needed.

I like SeaMonkey because its Master Password function actually works, but it
does a fine job with tiddlywiki, too. My main tiddlywiki is up around 2MB.

I have a wiki hosted at Tiddlyspot. I have two functions I have yet to
figure out and hope someone here can help
1) I want to hide the sidebar from everyone except me. I think the
PublisherPlugin (formerly PresentationPlugin) would do what I want,
but the author's site is down and no amount of sea
As a technical communicator I am aware of the value of content reuse
through "chunking"; breaking down a body of information into
manageable parts that can stand alone or combined and recombined into
useful larger units. TiddlyWiki is an excellent medium for this
approach to information management.
Using win 7 / chrome.
Frequently, when I go to tiddlytools.com, I end up changing YourName.
Should tiddlytools.com (the browser, actually) remember this across
visits?
[I've come across the need for --enable-file-cookies for local file://
cookies, but does this apply to http://www.tiddlytools.co
OK, then we're crossing multiple issues here. As I probably am here,
below, too.

This works, thanks...but not quite as I wished.
I understand now that I can amend/assign a property in this way...so
what I need to know now, is what is the term used for when you enclose
some text with {{{ }}}.
Is this a block quote?

I can read in an external text file using the ExternalTiddler plugin.
However I would like the text that is read in to be formatted, eg put
into a nice yellow box, as if I had typed {{{ and }}} around the text.
If I try this all I get is the actual wiki code in a yellow box eg

Hi Reto
Dateconfig does some og the job:

and here's an example of a CalendarPluginConfig:

Exactly as Eric says.
However adding http://tiddlytools.com/#foo on Safari will import the
entire of tiddlytools (not just the tiddler foo)
However this doesn't seem to work in Chrome.
So if you want to import calendarplugin use Safari/Firefox to import
the entire of TiddlyTools, select the Calend

As you uploaded them as binary tiddlers, you should have them in
directories allready. right?

It's a bit more complicated, but adding the following to StyleSheet
should do the trick:
.headerShadow {text-align:center;}
.headerForeground {text-align:center; position:fixed; z-index:-1;}
.siteTitle {color: white; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px black;}
.siteSubtitle {color: white; text-shadow: 1px 1px

The ability to use a "permalink" to filter the list of tiddlers to
import is a feature of TiddlyTools' ImportTiddlerPlugin, but is NOT
supported by the TW Core built-in importer, which only provides basic

I just tried in Chrome, and got the following error:

work round this by using another browser to do your importing
