I tried everything suggested previously - but could not check my TW's
settings when I was at the office because no matter what I've done the
backstage remains stubbornly hidden. (Therefore I could also not check the
saving backup settings when it fails
After I posted my most recent follow-up (included below) I was looking
through tiddlers whose names include 'stylesheet' and found this:
.whenBackstage {display:none;}
.backstageVisible .whenBackstage {display:block;}

OK, I'm at the office now - and coincedentally the web-host has repaired
the original server...and my TW saves again ?!?
Also as instructed, this is in it:

and right about the same time my hosting provider did a server change to
avoid a failing HDD - and it all went to pot.
Now, even at home the backstage shows, as well as the editing/saving
functions - but when I hit 'save to web', the only entry I get is this one:

miles from home, it loads my TW in read-only mode despite logging in just
the same way and all the saving functions are not even shown.

copied the same instance to both locations and it uses FF sync so even the
personal data remains
