Somewhere in the same tiddler. That has often confused me, due to not
always seeing the signs and ending it correctly.
If you want, you can export your tiddler from the more actions button i
I am hosting my tiddlywiki in github along with my main blog, I wanted to

You can't upgrade the executable versions, I will release a new version

Yes
You could put it on a usb stick to avoid user error as well.
Basicaly the upgrade imports your old wiki but ignores core and tiddlers so
that the new ones are in the upgrade file. You then save this to any filename
and test it. If it works you can swap it with your old one.

I don't Actualy understand your perceived problem. The local storage saves and
retains the updates in the browser and if you return to the same address it
will be there although some cases of possible loss. To combat this I thought of

Tony, I am using a single file wiki. I am not overly concerned about the
upgrade process, but I noticed in the comments of some of those who upgraded
there were some issues. I prefer to be prepared than be confronted with a nasty
surprise.
So, if I understand you well, you're basically saying

I would like this for your plugins, my own and collected plugins.
I already have a wiki with most plugins I have found and disabled them. I drag

The upgrade mechanisium for single file wikis only upgrades the file its given

most a feature does not work or a minor artifact
Let's say I have a TW file PeterWiki-1 and I have a copy called PeterWiki-2.
I then upgrade PeterWiki-1 from 5.1.21 to 5.1.22, and let's say it does not go
well, the upgraded version freezes, even after closing and reopening it.
If I then open PeterWiki-2 (i.e. the copy I did not touch), which
That does not do the trick either.
Note: I am rather confused on this because higher up on the same tid I have
proper bullet points and numbered points.

No.
You need an empty line before your bullet list.

Birthe, do you mean to delete the gap between * and "turn off CC"?
If so, I tried it but to no avail.

Addendum:
when I change the tid's title back from ToC-Zettels to ToC, the list was back,
and the various tids had the ToC tag back too, obviously.

Use https://tiddlywiki.com/upgrade to upgrade.
Official Tiddlywiki plugins will be upgraded, not other plugins.
If you do not have any overwritten core tiddlers, you should be fine.
Also take a good look at the list you will see when upgrading, that should
give you a hint.
Keep a backup and go
I love this plug-in, and have had good experience thus far.
Today I found a flwa/bug, I think.
I have a tiddler entitled ToC.
In the text box there is the following only:
<>
All tids that I want to occur in the list have a tag ToC. I wanted to change
the title of the ToC tid to ToC-zettels.
Try
In case CC is not wanted: these are the options:
Global setting:
# turn off CC (Control panel > Settings), or
Textbox only:
# use ~ on front of word, e.g. ~McLeod
# `<$text text="McLeod" />`
*turn off CC
