By the way: I put the outside the list.

A long time ago Saq Imitaz (sp?) made this thing called a hover menu that
hovered at the side of the screen no matter where you were in the list of
tiddlers. It had several handy functions we normally see in menus, like
save, new tiddler, etc,
but one function I can't see to find anywhere
I would use a macro IF you plan to pass off filters manually. Assuming that
you want the macro to work everywhere, you could create a tiddler with the
tag $:/tags/Macro and contents like:
\define helpme(filter)
<$list filter="$filter$">
<$transclude/>

and then invoke the macro wherever

I have the following template:
<$list filter="[tag[Database Analyst - Net Tech - MIS - Help
Desk]tag[ms-access]tag[sql]]">
<$transclude/>
But I want to be able to call the template from else where and specify the
filter string from outside (almost like passing a variable to the template)
btw, adding an image background didn't work, but your thing did work

Do you know why something like this
<$list filter="[has[foo]]">
{{!!foo}}:
{{!!zcomment}}
shows up in a regular tiddler, ( in this case as "bar: what's up" ), but
not as its "transcluded" in the left bar?

Hi Danielo,
Great stuff there!
Glad you got plugins working in your custom server-side.
Out of curiosity, is the "NoteSelf-core" a kind of self-updating plugin?
In other words, how does one update NoteSelf?
(Consider adding the answer to that to the site / FAQ.)
Anyone wants to play with
Really happy to see things rolling!
I'm unfortunately very busy with other things for at least a week, probably
longer. Hope to get back on track soon but will at least follow passively
in the background meanwhile.

Dave, if I recall, the LeftBar is very much based on how the regular
sidebar works. So, if you somehow find out how to color (or whatever) the
sidebar, then this should also be applicable for the leftbar.

Dave,
One question: Can you think of a way to give it a background of some sort?

In case you didn't already solve this;
While I haven't tested it, I think you should be able to add a background
just like you would for any other tiddler. Or, because of its special role
you could just

Hello,
Posting here as the TiddlyWeb group looks a bit on the quiet side, but let
me know if I should be using that instead.
Trying to get tiddlywebplugins.oauth working and in my config I have:

Ciao Jed
I am glad you back on it. As I said before, it sounds like a very
interesting development of TW.
I will hold off till a full release is ready to try. My only concern is
still not quite understanding it. i mean I get the broad idea but not so
much the actual process of how to use it

Hello Everyone,
It's been a couple of weeks since the last update, but that does not mean
that I haven't been working on NoteSelf, in fact I worked on it very hard
these last two weeks.
I spent an entire week on planification, re-thinking the tool and sketching
a big refactoring of several

My little robot has gone off into the world by itself, so I have time to
