You need a really amazing stable and noise

with a series of 8 notch filters for ~70 thru 130 KHz, with a peak

Notch filters can be switch selected on the front or some are on the
real panel.
For intermittent signals like noises, the peak indicator lamp gets my
attention.

LORAN has potential for you.
AUSTRON made a variety of LORAN-C receivers, 2100F, 2100(R), 2000, etc
Stanford Research Systems (SRS) also made the FS-700
Because they are useless in the US, pricing on Ebay has dropped.

Hello The Net:
I need to consider getting a new wrist watch, but I need a second hand
and a digital display is unacceptable.
What would you consider in the 150$ price range ?
Would be nice to have state of the art accuracy with a lifetime
battery and high reliability.
Thanks, Stan

The electrical section will have a grey PVC pipe that may be more
suitable and UV proof.

Hello Brad,
VE1ALQ has them. He will also make VCXO's. Do a google search for his
webpages.
He sells the kits as well as the assembled units.
By far easier to get a PTS or Fluke sysnthesizer.

The X72 units are nice, I can fit 2 in my shirt pocket, and 10 to 32 VDC

Another PCI sound card, the Delta 44, was a big problem, at least for me.

Yes, rack mounted test equipment was usually from a fixed location, and

Hello Mark,
Seems to want to work.
How about a better antenna ? or another antenna ? or one outside ?
How about a different antenna position, vertically and laterally ?
How about a lower feed line loss ?
Possibly a line amp like the Symmetricom/HP 1 X 2 or 1 x 4 RF distro amp.
