If you wish, you can put your music files on a NAS, and LMS running on a
PC will serve them to any Squeezebox player on your network.
Both the NAS and the PC are connected to your router, not to each other.

To be honest it took a while for me to configure getting LMS TO SBT..but
got there eventually!
Its just knowing what hooks up to what ! Iam sure you guys (n'girls) Can
do this blindfolded standing on yer heads.
So Looking at my system Currently (SBT / hifi upstairs) P.C/Router LMS
Storing on a 2 drive NAS is sensible. It's a low power device and if you
add a Pi for LMS which is also lower power you can leave it on.
The Pi starter kit from Amazon is where to start it has averything you
will need. Flash the SD card with either picoreplayer or max2play.

ReadyNAS.
2) There are many ports for other NAS-Systems, for instance QNAP
Turbostations.

Got Some conflicting advise. Do Qnap NAS work with LMS. On one Amazon
review of a Fanless NAS, someone stated QNAP Dont work with LMS. on here
someone said they do, then One of the developers Said only Netgear ever
supported LMS.
also.. Is it unwise to buy a Fanless NAS.. one Review
