After further research, the loss of the keyboard volume control is not

After recently upgrading from Ubuntu 14.04 to Ubuntu 14.10 I am experiencing a
problem at startup: the infamous waiting 60 more seconds for network
configuration.
After a couple of minutes the system finally completes booting, but I have no
network manager.

I have similar problems. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
Blueman doesn't work either, and freeze the computer(AAO 725 on Ubuntu 14.04).
Reboot is the only way using Ctrl+Alt+PrintScreen+b.
