I do not use Compiz. I have been using GNOME Shell since Trisquel 6 and it
may have additional dependencies for accessibility.
See the attached files for screenshots.
Nope, I just tested in my other system and I have the same problem. No zoom
option. I think I read somewhere about ubuntu not being good with people with
disabilities, specifically about gnome-mag not being present I believe. But I
don't know if it has something to do with zoom not being
You know, I looked for it but I just couldn't find that option. I'll attach a
picture of that. I don't know if it has something to do with some "peculiar"
changes I have made on my system. I'll check a freshly new trisquel I have in
another system. I also notice that gnome-mag is not on the
The problem with "Terminal" in "Accessories" is that you would not be able to
use it if the screen gets scrambled! On the contrary, text sessions would
still be functional.
Anyway, I thought you were regularly having display issues but it looks like
you found the culprit one month ago!
"Zoom" in the "Seeing" tab of the "Universal Access" (in the "System
Settings") has "Options". In particular, the magnifier does not have to be
full screen. It can take half of it (and you can choose which half). And it
can "Follow mouse cursor".
only half? I thought it was more.:(
You must make appropriate adjustments into /etc/resolv.conf using as a guide

Hi arielenter, thank you for your suggestion. yes, before I got the GNOME
Shell, I tried that and I had some trouble using it but I appreciate your
idea. I may have to use it again if there's nothing else.Too bad I don't have
as much memory as I did, the GNOME Shell was wonderful for
Also, in kmag you can hide all the tool bars and the menu so that it shows
just the magnifier as it looks on my screen shot.
Misty, have you tried kmag as magnifier program? I wrote a post about it:

maybe you might be interested on trying my approach.
Creating a new abrowser profile does also solves the problem. Maybe some
problem in my cache? Oh well, if I found something I'll let you know.
Thats weird. IceCat and Aora do take me to the right place. Only abrowser is
taking me to https://devel.trisquel.info/groups/trisquel when trying to reach
http://packages.trisquel.info . I'll continue investigating.
hmm... you are right, using Tor I was able to get there. Mm. I'll
check my browser. Thank you.
It's working for me.
Hello every one:
I used to visit http://packages.trisquel.info a lot to search for old
packages from older releases of trisquel, similar to debian and ubuntus
package search websites: https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages and
http://packages.ubuntu.com/
But now
I forgot to mention that you can change your theme in gnome-tweak-tool to
your newly created theme. You can find gnome-tweak-tool on Trisquel's main
menu>System Settings>Tweak Tool>Appearance where you will be able to chose
Trisquel2 for Window and GTK+.
Hi:
I wanted to share how I enable scroll bar steppers in Trisquel's theme:
Make a copy of the original theme just in case you want to keep the original
and have a backup:
sudo cp -r '/usr/share/themes/Trisquel' '/usr/share/themes/Trisquel2'
Then open the following file of your copy:
I don't recall seeing any announcements of ARM support, but I would certainly
encourage it especially with the Libre Tea card being a thing. I actually
ordered a card for my mom, and it would be nice to be able to give it to her
with Trisquel rather than Debian (I'm 100% sure that Parabola
How do I delete a DNS I no longer want to use? (Comcast DNS is still there
when i edited with the graphical method.) Thanks for the help.

You're probably right. :(
She's doing a lot of damage to the Trans community; perhaps even moreso than
to those she's accusing. When someone from any group does something, it
reflects on the group as a whole. It’s hard enough for them, now they have
this embarrassment. I know some
DNS servers are listed in /etc/resolv.conf - but you can change them
graphically by clicking on the 'network' icon in the taskbar, clicking on
"Edit", clicking on your connection in the list, going to the 'IPv4 Settings'
tab and entering the DNS server there.
I saw a speech Rubén gave a few years ago in which he said that Trisquel
will produce an arm port when there was suitable hardware to run it on. The
Libre Tea would certainly fit that description.
I think he will focus on Trisquel 8 first (Or will it be part of that?
H...).
When the screen scrambled, it was when I had GNOME Shell, which has been
removed as the likely suspect, a month ago, but I'm sure an old log would say
something about the incident.
I hope it'd be ok to use the terminal I like from Accessories.
You have been very kind and patient with me, it

I am trying to change my DNS to open NIC from comcast but I can not delete my
old DNS. I can't figure this out. Can someone help?
In a post lkcl explained the difficulties about making pcbs. About the
pocketchip does it not make a difference in costs would you have all
schematics and software as open source? Because it is interesting I ask, what
are the options? For now there are not many options. No 7", no 10". I do
I believe next version will support it. I may be wrong, I just think I read
that somewhere on this forum.
I pre-ordered on of the EOMA68 "Libre Tea Computer Cards" from Crowdsource
and it uses an ARM processor so I was just curious.
Sorry for going off-topic, but why isn't EOMA68 libre hardware?
I have began the french website"Le site du zero" who unfortunately is now
more a façade to sell Microsoft solutions.
I began to read "The little schemer" it's pretty neet.
Some people recommend "SICP", I read the preface and it is very interesting.
