Tested with both packages - no root kits found. Sadly all it means is that you probably don't have any of the rootkits these tools know about. If you really have caught the attention of a somewhat clumsy Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) then they'd be quite up to using an unknown one.

Yes, I'm in the UK. Blag hasn't released a new version since Blag 14. Fedora is now on version 19. Fedora 14 is no longer supported. Doesn't that make Blag a hopeless source for a reliable distro? Besides - recent revelations seem to indicate that machines no longer need to be rootkitted

Hi everyone, Never had any problem seeing YT-vids on Trisquel, but recently they keep loading but never start playing. Anybody else any problems with that. BTW it's Trisquel 6.0 with The Shockwave flash GNASH plugin.

Well, Google / Youtube changes things from time to time. I mostly either use youtube-dl wrapped with some custom scripts to download things for later viewing or Greasemoneky plus Viewtube.

After creating a ext2 partition of 1.27 GiB, (according to gparted) and a ext4 partition of 619 MiB with a label of casper-rw without the qoutetation marks, i get the same result (as superuser.)

Same thing here when using gnash (i.e. when html5 version is not available). It started happening recently. It usually starts playing if you change the resolution. I usually just use youtube-dl. Annoying problem though and I don't know what causes it. I have the flash onoff add-on installed.

Ruben has indicated that he wants to keep GNOME as the official DE for Trisquel, since it is an official component of the GNU project. I think it is highly unlikely for this decision to change, especially considering the excellent accessibility technologies found in GNOME.

The real question, I think, is whether Trisquel is going to start using GNOME Shell, or stick to GNOME Flashback, in the next version. I like Shell, personally.

I am also experiencing this issue. Clicking the quality button to change the quality to 240p seems to be a work around. It isn't ideal but it works.
