I already created a ticket: https://issues.mediagoblin.org/ticket/5560
The problem:
Setup:
Debian 9.3 ARMv7
I have followed the documentation in installing with python3. The
documentation is hard to understand since so this issue may just be a
misconfiguration. No one is online on the IRC
I appreciate your enthusiasm for Org Mode, but using it won't help me
to assimilate into society while keeping my promise to the world that
I will not pressure them to put them in a helpless position as a user
of technology.
Personally, a year ago I started to depend less on
document/spreadsheet/presentation formats which are not easily readable,
understandable and editable with plain text editors.
So I decided to start writing my things using Org mode
syntax/markup. Besides being easily readable by humans in plain

Magic Banana, is this still an issue, or did you manage to find the
Is there an actual question I have to answer or are you just telling me
things?

Indeed, check out (and if possible, join) the work we're doing in [1].

Looks like it is. I actually saw that during the tcpdump tests.

I will try to explain again and give you the benefit of the doubt once,
although I suspect it may just extend this conversation into the indefinite
future.
What do you mean by ensuring security? Who is your oponent? What is the
threat? What are you trying to achieve?
I will divide this
Good to hear you fixed it. cheers

Well, FF was patched for metdownz. You can also mitigate spectre by disabling
jit in your browser - linky ->

Is that the search engine that **promises** privacy? :P

You assign a belief to someone who rejects trust, authority and belief and
who tests. And you call him dogmatic based on that just because you like to
praise N specific people.
You also seem to make no difference between disrespectful and not kneeling
down.
Clamav scans for winpawn$ virii and does absolutely nothing to prevent or to
remove the virii affecting GNU/lix, which by the way do not exist.
You messed up so much in your attempt to be derogatory.
You assign a belief to someone who rejects trust, authority and belief and

I am not here to prove anything to you. You simply refuse to understand that
security has levels and ensuring security through free software is
meaningless when your hardware is a malware. Being repeatedly cynical won't
make you understand.
Thanks SuperTramp, this led me down the right path. After fiddling for awhile
I figured out my install of Trisquel Mini did not have Seahorse, the GUI tool
to change keyrings/passwords. Once installed I was able to delete the
troublesome keyring and replace it with a new one that uses the
I believe Libreboot has a sub-Reddit as well you might want to try.
You prove my point. You keep moving the goal post and demand impossible
perfection.
You make it seem that using free software is useless and quaint, which it is
not, and that achieveing some amount of privacy or security is useless
because other aspects of computing are flawed. I find

I already explained what I meant by that

yes, I wouldn't have expected less from you.

Heyjoe is
"Librebooted computers will be affected by Meltdown and Spectre forever."
We don't know that it's unsolvable, all we know is that the solution chosen
by upstream relies on microcode changes.
I wonder if it would be possible to spark some community movement towards
alternate mitigation
"The first thing is, that it is in my opinion a mistake to assume that only
proprietary software can contain malicious code."
Although that's not what I said now, was it? I referred to running
"proprietary programs that they can never audit or trust." The difference
being that, if someone
You may check Nextcloud but all online service providers run Intel ME and
proprietary BIOS. So the efforts to find a RYF alternative are pretty much
doomed.
BTW DuckDuckGo seems also hosted on Amazon servers:

duckduckgo.com has address 54.229.105.92

Another thing that helps is convincing the authors to insert alternative
ways to contact them, preferably those which Git itself already supports
(email).
