I don't use wine. I prefer whiskey. In 18 months of Debian stable Xfce (first 7 and then 8) I had 0 bugs on 7 and 2 bugs on 8 (tumbler mem leak which is a known Xfce bug, and pulse audio issues easily solved with an apt purge pulseudio). Never a bug, never a crash or whatsoever. Stable and
