evening coverage. Love those curling rock graphics.

Since NBC sold their ad inventory at Sunday

leapfrogged Sunday's Steelers-Chiefs 1:05et game into primetime. NBC

No, you just accept it as part of things grown-ups say. Over here, PBS
treats its audience like children, for fear that a donation might be lost.

I wasn't quite as down as some were with the first episode of the run, but
the second was definitely superior. This side of the pond something like
Sherlock always attracts more coverage that average, and it always amuses
me that people feel that a show has to be bracketed as a certain *type*.

Wouldn't be much trouble to get the NFL to agree. They don't care what game is on, as long as there's a game on.The owners of the Rams and Chargers however, would never hear of it. That's money and exposure (which potentially equals future money) for them.Doug FieldsTampa, FL

Charger fans are passionate but relatively few in number. They had the
lowest attendance in the NFL this season (55,488). The Rams OTOH, playing
in a horrible stadium, drew the second most fans in the league (83,687).
The SD media market is about 2.5M people, LA more than 10.5M. Both those
numbers
I wonder if the NFL would allow some Chargers or Rams home games to be
preempted for let's say a better game?
