Pankaj, Any screen output should also go to the PH file, you can put various CRT statements in your program to try and trace it. Add the date and time to each line of output. Because you get the PHANTOM completed successfully, it sounds more like your program is not working correctly, perhaps

Dave You can try CLEAN.ACCOUNT to restore the pointers. And of course make sure none of the files you have copied have any indices attached. These use absolute pointers: one of the standard mistakes is copying a file to test leaving an absolute pointer to a live index file. Otherwise you are

Problem Solved; What happened was that the terminfo.src file was corrupt. Im not sure how this hsppened. I am the only one messing with things of this nature at work. I must have ftp'd or samba'd the file at some point and it took a whack. The other thing I missed was the '-a' in the uvtic
