I researched this a little more with the nfsv4 mailing list, and it
turns out to be 2 bugs, but they are both fixed upstream.

yes i have another machine. Actually i have a TpLink router conected in
the Dlink 504 router to provide wireless conection to a notebook. I
already tried conecting the PC on the TpLink...even shuting down the
TpLink... the odd is that when i haved a A8N SLI mobo and a A64 X2 this

I too think this should be the default policy, there is no good reason to
expose your MAC-address to the world.
But adding net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr=2 to /etc/sysctl.conf was not enough
to get it working on my Ethernet interface from boot.

On Ubuntu 7.10 both 64bit and 32 bit (the liveCD from Canonical) the keyboard
hangs after GUI loaded.
I can type in booloader prompt, but nothing in GUI.
Same thing seems to be on Kubuntu.
That was on my friend`s computer.

Forgot - 32bit version that was tested was 7.04

The old log has been replaced with newer ones, but I will reproduce it
if necessary. I was referring to fnf.
I am still looking to get more information and to recreate this bug on

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The Flash plugin installation is currently broken. This
is due to Adobe changing the tar file that the package downloads. See
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=636397 if you need to fix this
immediately, but
