That's pretty much it, I was watching the clock on my desktop's panel while
configuring a few servers to use ntpdate, and I noticed the clock seems to
freeze for about 2 seconds every 5 to 10 seconds.

Due to installing dual screen capability I had to reinstall Ubuntu
completely. I lost all my mail data.
The problem with my mail however is now fixed by the reinstalling

I just ran into this bug after I completely updated a clean install.
Since the fix should be about a month old, I recon it should have been
in Hardy now, but obviously this bug is still present.
At this point I cannot install proprietary drivers through the Hardware

grab some log information? If so, can you attach the following (be sure
to attach each as a separate file and not as a tarball).

Hi all,
I've been trying for several days to reproduce this problem in Hardy,
without any luck.
Can anyone confirm that this problem is endemic in Hardy?
If so, can you please provide very detailed instructions to reproduce?

Oh, I forgot to say the monitor has a VGA connector, plugged into the PC
to the VGA one.
PC is a desktop with an ATI 9600 XT graphics card, AGP. The card has
VGA, DVI and TV-out connectors, I just use the VGA one.

Commenting the HumanList gtkrc gtk_color_scheme = line workaround the issue,
does anybody knows why this theme is not using the same gtkrc as Human and if
the line can be commented? the theme seems to not change when it's commented
just to put a # before
