I'm very sorry to tell you, that your Aktualisierungsverwaltung wanted to
install grub-pc without my agreement. I put away the
agree-button but the packed, however, was downloaded. Please fix this bug!
So, maybe this fault is no bug. But why does Ubuntu-update install packages
which I selected
Hmm it's been a while. I have sent the patch upstream, so I know it has been
fixed there.

Subject: [PATCH] drm/i915: Fix
First of all, I find the app great; I don't know yet whether it works
well with my scanner, but I will definitely try it out (I usually access
my scanner over its crappy HTTP interface) -- my scanner definitely
shows up in the list, but it's off and I have nothing to scan right now
(and I'm lazy).
We'll close this bug then as this was probably caused by a out-of-sync
mirror or maybe a failed package build. Please report any other bugs you
may find! Thanks.

It can be different question why coushdb process was broken down during
the previous test occasion.

Well, now I'm not sure what the problem is.
Lucid has done upgrades to nvidia and to dkms, so I thought I would try
compiling and running the kernel again. I accepted all default options.
Everything seemed to go well, and the kernel is very fast.
Then, very much later, after several re-boots,
Sorry for my bad english!!!

Thank you Kees.
Downgrading to the lucid ifupdown package, returned my login consoles
and services (somehow a mess my system while trying to upgrade some package
from testing).
I also have /etc/init/network-interface.conf.
One question though. My system boots from tty7, X are in tty8 and I
Debian package has an updated description too.

I'm not sure about it; it says *theme-name [ --rebuild-initrd ]*, which,
IMO, means theme name *and if you want also* --rebuild-initrd (these are
square brackets, not a pipe)
But, again, that's how I read it and I may be mistaken (even because it is
not documented in the following help)
