After testing things out it seems like conky ${execi}, ${execpi} and
${texeci} are causing the bug whenever their update interval is greater
than current system uptime. Mainly due to the fact that other ${exec},
${execp} and ${texec} depends on the initial execution of the preceding
ones.
Is anything being done about this bug? This is a serious bug that would
stop 12.04 from being used in many enterprise deployments. In our
environment, we have mixed Mac and Linux workstations, and many Linux
(CentOS, Debian, and Ubuntu) servers. We use LDAP for authentication,

I was actually looking into why my kvm virtual machine was crashing and looked
in the host dmesg and noticed the trace.
At least in oneiric this didn't happen. I also don't know whether this happens
regularly, but I will keep an eye on it.

However, adding 'and stopped udevtrigger' *does* solve that problem.
Based on 10 restarts I can confirm that. Either it does solve the
problem or it just delays lightdm with the right amount of time.

I installed the mainline kernel v3.4-rc3-precise and I see some
improvement. Now instead of going black when I remove or attach the
adapter, the macbook screen stays active. However, when I remove the
adapter, I can still move my mouse into the area that would be reserved
