Same problem on Acer TM8204, Intel Centrino Duo. The fan starts at maximum
speed after 10 minutes of use and then won't stop until shutdown or reboot. No

I found the solution, the correct directive to specificy a CA
certificate file for sudo-ldap is:

I didn't know there was a package updated in edgy-proposed. I tested it
and it seems to work, login prompt appears quickly and LDAP users get
authenticated but error messages like ``udevd[374]: nss_ldap: could not
connect to any LDAP server'' still remain on boot-up process.

Doing a addgroup --system nvram makes the:

error disappear, but my boot-time still remains abount 40 minutes long!
When I remove ldap from nsswitch.conf my boot-time returns to acceptable values.
