Hi there. Same problem for me, but with some news.
I've installed latest official relelase of Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 on an HP Pavilion
dv5165 laptop, and with vi (vim) editor the combos CTRL or ALT + arrow keys
result in the same text (probably a codification of the combination?) 1;5C or
1;5D etc.
Note that the source tarballs at
http://web.telia.com/~u88005282/sum/archive/source/ already contains a
debian/ directory and are prepared for building with pysupport.

Well, I mentioned that printer admin tool OOo ships, but Kubuntu doesn't
come with it by default. Anyway it's not needed. My solution, as
mentioned above, goes like this:
1. Open this file '/etc/openoffice/psprint.conf' with your editor of choice

2. Jump to line 83
3. Read the line
A couple observations:
1) When du can't find a directory, going into that directory and executing a du
or an ls causes subsequent invocations of du to find that directory

cindy:/windows$ du --max-depth=1
19456 ./backup
.
.
1120./car
du: `./Media': No
sorry, I forgot to put that this is in a regular install of feisty.

Public bug reported:
in the gnome file browser, I double click on a .spx file, totem opens up
but the resulting sound is all messed up. it sounds like it is
playing super fast or skipping around or something. if I run speexdec
on the .spx file, totem plays the resulting .wav just fine.

the original fix worked for me on my two week old feisty install. The
line was/is:
SUBSYSTEM!=usb*, GOTO=libgphoto2_rules_end
and I changed it to:
SUBSYSTEM!=usb_device*, GOTO=libgphoto2_rules_end
thanks
