My solution was to uninstall Firefox 3 and install Firefox 2
That's not really a solution, though.
I've done a few searches on bugzilla, and I can't see anything that looks
the same. Running some google searches shows that this has been seen on
Ubuntu before, but there seemed to be no clear

I think what's going on is that unmounting a drive doesn't remove the
mount point--the empty folder /media/disk will remain. You can delete
this as with a normal empty folder. Can you confirm that this is what's
going on?

Flash content is a likely problem. What Flash player are you using? The
key ones are the official adobe player (package flashplugin-nonfree),
Gnash and swfdec--there's also libflash, which does not seem to be
updated.

Searching the add-on database finds exit button firefox--is this it?

Can you try again, in case it was a temporary error on Google's side?
If the problem is still there, can you start firefox in safe mode (from
a command prompt, firefox -safe-mode), and see if the same thing
happens? This will try it with all extensions and plugins disabled.

What does it say if you do sudo dpkg --configure -a? This should try
to flush through the 13 not fully installed or removed that apt-get
mentions.

Tricky one--many of the problems people are having with KDE 4.0 are
supposed to be solved in KDE 4.1, so from that point of view you should
upgrade to get the latest. On the other hand, KDE 4.1 is still in beta,
and is not an official part of Ubuntu (I don't know if 4.1 final will be
