I'd like to see this fixed, since it is kind of annoying to open
Inkscape just to view an image in detail. It could be fixed by rendering
vector images every time they are zoomed in or out, rather than the
current behaviour of rendering once when it is loaded then zooming in
the rendered image
I reported this and it is no longer happening. I think it was just a
glitch from installing updates and not restarting GNOME fully.

I run chbg to rotate through images for my root window. Whenever the
desktop image changes the shape of all of the desklets, filled with the
background image, appears above everything for a split second. This
includes above fullscreen video playback and other applications
I found the same issue as Aldous D. Peñaranda with a PCI card. The system would
come up with GDM, but not log in (just stop loading before the desktop comes
up, mouse pointer still movable).
Switching to a console and running top showed iwlist as taking over 90% CPU
power. (Pressing ctrl-alt-f8
I had the iwlist 99% problem, which I solved by moving iwlist out of /sbin in
recovery mode, but I have since reinstalled and my system hangs when I click
Configure in the network settings tool. It works on the live CD, so I think

Steps to reproduce:
1) Install and use a non-386 kernel version (I use k7, but will probably work

directory. It makes sense to extract multiple files into a directory
like it currently does. To move the files from the created directory to
the current directory one simply has to cut/paste them, whilst to do it
the other way around
The same happens in the latest XGL in Dapper, I have tried with the
