I have to cancel my report from yesterday, as the problem was found to be on
the AP side (a Linksys WAG2000G ADSL router). My WiFi connection works again
since I restarted the AP. I believe its uptime was over one year but it was
still working perfectly for wired connections and still visible
I have the same problem with my HP Pavillion dv6700 using an iwl3945 card.
The strange thing on my side is that this card was working perfectly with
Jaunty.
It stopped working when I upgraded to Karmic.
Now, it's still not working on a fresh install of Lucid.

I have also EasyNote MX65 laptop with PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] wlan
card under my care. Symptoms are as with previous posters.
NetworkManager can see all of the APs, but can't connect to them. See
attached logs for details. There is also the difference that I haven't
tried with encrypted

When i try to connect
I can't attach sudo lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log. Maybe later

I can vouch for this. My girlfriend's Packard Bell EasyNote does exactly
the same thing. I tested it with the Ubuntu 9.10 Beta LiveCD and she
still has that problem. You keep getting asked for the password. She's
had this problem with Intrepid and Jaunty too.
