I did that as my first option (google a little in ubuntu forums for The
Master Kernel Thread). With a script there it's very easy to do it. You
take around 2 to 3 hours. I had problemas with my first reboot and
could'nt do anything.

The kernel version 2.6.22 definitely has all the right pieces to work - and
