I took a look at the Xen documentation and their website, it seems that
Xen 3.0/3.1 do not support any cpu frequency scaling at all, it looks
like they are currently working on it (maybe for Xen 3.2). So this it
not really a bug, but rather a missing feature.

For those you can see the problem, what if you change the default language (use
something completly different like french or spanish) ??
Also reloading the session with a deleted
~/.kde/share/config/kmenueditrc and ~/.local/menus wold help
understading what happens.

I solved the problem by copying the file
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.03/jre/lib/jexec to /var/lib/binfmts/jexec
and after that I ran sudo dpkg --purge remove sun-java6-bin sun-
java6-jre
Not to nice, it complained a lot and then it worked. Probably not
recommended.

I get this too, I installed gutsy (amd64 if it matters) and can't boot
when I use the 2.6.22-12 kernel. When I try to boot normally the screen

2.) Burn ISO onto a CD
3.) Reboot and boot from CD
4.) Load first option, (LiveCD or Installation)
5.) After all the files from the LiveCD are stored in ram, Ubuntu Live CD
starts to load, then the monitor shuts off.

I tried to update to gutsy versions of emacs and emacs-snapshot. Now
none of the addons packages like muse, bbdb or remember will install.
The strange thing is that the messages say emacs-gtk has not been

should be disabled by default. For the moment you can easily disable
this zoom by issuing this command a gnome-terminal:

I just encountered this same bug (I think) installing the Gutsy Beta. I
have a SATA drive which I use for my main linux system and an old PATA
drive for backups. My motherboard is an MSI K9N (nForce 570) which by
default orders the PATA drive first, but I change the order in the BIOS
to boot

In Feisty it was possible to activate avahi-daemon in the KDE control
module kdnssd. Just click enable Zeroconf network browsing and the
enable_avahi script would enable the deamon by editing the /etc/default
file.
Anyway, when merging with Debian this script got removed and
