I experience the same problem. After log out sometimes I can't login at all, I
can see the desktop for a split second and then the screen stays black (with a
mouse pointer).
The only thing that remains is rebooting the machine, because
ctrl-alt-backspace brings you to the login screen, but
I have this problem as well during the 7.04 to 7.10 upgrade. I tried
booting off the Live CD of 7.10 and it still hang at bluetooth
initialization. My workaround to this was to unplug my USB flash card
reader and I was able to proceed with the installation.

I'm having the same problem with 7.10. If i turn on the Visual Effects, 2 of
my workspaces dissapears, leaving me with only 2 workspaces. If i turn off the
visual effects, i get back 4 workspaces again.

I just got home and tried the Live CD on my AIW Radeon X800 Pro and it
does detect 1024x728. Yet it doesn't detect (like my laptop) the
monitor's maximum resolution of 1280x1024. And shows 1280x800 as maximum
possible value.

I just disabled and re-enabled the desktop effects and now the metacity themes
don't have a left border on maximized windows! There still seems to be a
1-pixel border on the right border, though.

Hi David,
Can you test Gutsy-final? Like I mentioned, the patch that I think
fixes this didn't make it in for Gutsy-beta so you'd definitely have the
same problem there, however I suspect it should be fixed in -final.

I have the same problem and the same hash matches that is the sound card
(intel) on mi acer notebook.
So, if I unload the sound modules, resume works but screen in also black. But
if I give a commad (ie shutdown -r now) it works.
