I've been told that the information about the quad-core opteron should
be kept private until it is announced. Apparently the release schedule
has recently moved out so it will probably be announced in the
July/August timeframe.
I noticed that I only pasted the final part of /proc/cpuinfo in my
Calvin,
To the best of my knowledge there has been no progress on this bug. I had to
update the linux image on my machine this morning; the update required a system
restart. As usual, I had to do a manual power down to get out of the restart
freeze.

In apport we should just unset https_proxy since it will not ever work
with the current Python.
How would this solve the problem of apport trying to GET/POST https://
URLs through a proxy? The proxy will still be required. apport needs

I could observe the same behaviour. I tried do run the application in
Konsole and received the following message:

So, I typed the following command:
sudo ln -s libgps.so.16.0.0
Acutally i can confirm. After recovering from a standby or hibernate,

I know you marked this as Fix Released, but I still have the same
problem after updating gksu to 2.0.5-1ubuntu5. Is it working for you? By
the way, I've noticed that the password in http_proxy is always
displayed cleartext, I suppose that's a different bug (that I shall open
today).

It doesn't seem that amule has problems with the changes since i don't
find a link to the library hardcoded. I'm testing the build, instalation
and use of amule with this library to see if it works and/or fix it
