I'm sorry for failing to reply before. I have been experimenting with
different Linux systems lately and kind of neglected email for awhile. The
bug was nothing serious anyway; besides, I think I've settled on using open
SUSE and maybe Banshee for audio. Thanks to Ubuntu though for

an Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter and 1 IDE drive.

I agree with you that, if we were to upload this fix to Intrepid,
-security would be the best place where this should happen.

As I am a novice in Ubuntu, that was my mistake to report that as a bug.
After some period of thinking I tried to use Synaptic for installing that item
(xorg Unichrome), and it had been installed perfectly well.

I am using emacs for editing a TeX-file. I use evince to view the
resulting dvi-file. Whenever I run LaTeX on the TeX-file from emacs,
evince takes the focus and gets on top of emacs, so I can't see what
