that, after adding sound-juicer and ubuntu-restricted-extras, 'Audio CD

sound/noise) but I think is enough. I have found a compromising solution
between the quality and the sound level.
In Windows the quality is much better but the quality in Ubuntu is enough as I

Actually, it is a kernel bug, and Tyler Hicks (the upstream maintainer)
sees the problem, but hasn't had time to fix it. Ubuntu kernels are
affected, though we're not working on it on the Ubuntu side. We're just
waiting for upstream to commit a fix.

I have been using version 10.04 Lucid Lynx and frequently throughout the
day my PC loses the Wireless connection. I right click and turn off
Wireless and Networking and then click to enable Networking and Wireless
and it connects back OK. If I don't disable and reenable when I tried
to connect

Dell Latitude C400 here, got the same with Ubuntu 10.04 and before that
Ubuntu 9.04. Specifically, after booting, and logging in the first
time, there is no mouse pointer. If I lock the screen (by leaving it
idle for a while or by finding the lock screen widget that I've set up
for this purpose)
Hunk, is this version of your patch the final one to merge upstream in
GIT?
