Logwatch should be ignoring these entries.
You can look at /proc/self/uid_map to see if uid 0 is mapped to a non-0
uid, which would mean that you're not getting real root.
Root in an unprivileged container does hold all the capabilities, but those are
tied to the user namespace so they're only useful if the resource you're trying
to acce

I have already tried that. When I go into the sound GUI options (by

Settings..."), the option for "Hi fidelity" is there, but often times it

You can check dmesg or /var/log/syslog or /var/log/audit/audit.log for
DENIED lines from AppArmor that you can then add to the profile if you
wish. What files were you trying to read?
Note that the command line as given here is incorrect; you either re-
directed the file /etc/apparmo
Did a round of verifying this on up to date VMs with Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04
and 17.04. Thus marking all three as verified.
Common for all is that I installed smartshine, noted it wouldn't start
without the neccessary libraries, then enabled -proposed, upgraded
smartshine and verified that the depende

reports to bug 1675888, which seems to be the oldest report about these
crashes.
