tried to modify gdm.conf and xorg.conf but no way.

Anyhow. The whole thread strikes me as a little strange. As a couple
of you noticed, I found this crash occured on AMD64s and though not
owning one myself, a few others helped to iron out that bug.
I can confirm part of that. Activating the cube plugin has no effect.
However, the keyboard accelerators still work for me.
compiz is absolutely running: Windows are wobbly, changing workspaces

I have just downloaded the LiveCD Feisty Herd3 for testing, and I have
installed this package.
I can say you that now the CPU is no more 100%. Now the use of the CPU is very
low (0% - 2%).
I can think now that this bug will be resolved with Feisty release.

evolution works fine and use almost no CPU on all my boxes, you are
probably using some plugin or setting triggering that, not easy to track
for somebody not getting the problem. If you don't think you are
technically able to work on the problem and other people don't get the

When testing herd 3 feisty fawn in a vmware player the two disks that are set
up are correctly displayed.
Wehn I leave the options to the default selection, so that the standard
formatting would be performed on /dev/hda the next

Invalid declation of DebconfError in install.py will likely to crash Ubiquity
in most hardware configurations.

crash, since the declaration of DebconfError is not defined. It's a

Thank you for your bug. Could you describe only one problem by page,
that make easier to work on it. I don't agree on the synchronize button
being confusing, I've forwarded the documentation problem upstream

Thanks, that worked. Got another bug (terminal window not updating), but
that's another thing.
I guess in that case, that compiz bug should be fixed. We'll see when a
dev turns up here.
