I am seeing the same segfault on my lucid boxes, config file attached
with sensitive information removed. None of the extended checks are
actually being done on the machines that are crashing, as the first
hosts we upgraded to lucid do not do anything that complex -- run
lighttpd and that is all.

After I activated the USB Magic and added a line to fstab the USB devics
are now visible to vm guests (e.g. Win2000Pro). Then I noticed that I
have 2 sets of folders, one in /dev/bus/usb and a 2nd one in
/dev/bus/usb/.usbfs AND after some USB

working without the pulse device by assigning the card directly. Unfortunately,
on Intrepid this does not work anymore. This is a true regression for me.
Furthermore, I believe the joe average user expects skype to work

I am using mylvmbackup to backup an XFS logical volume. The script makes
a LVM snapshot with lvcreate, mounts it and creates a targz of the
content.
With 7.04 this worked fine. Since the upgrade to 7.10 lvcreate kind of freezes
the system.
I think this is the same as bug #151253. If I change gnome-screensaver
to use a blank screen, X does not die.

Right after 8.04 64bit server install, it would die 3 out of 4 boots.
I'd hit Ctrl-D, enter some 'ls' command, plug/unplug some usb devices,
LAN cable, anything, and reboot. After a few such tries it would boot
all the way. Later I did apt-get upgrade + update and saw initramfs
rebuild. since then

Remark: The suspend mode worked properly with Ubuntu 9.04. After changing to
9.10 no recovery possible after suspend (only with 'hard' reset by pressing the
power switch for 4s).

I can confirm this problem on 64-Bit-Version of Karmic Koala, too. Several PDF
files weren't print like Bryce Harrington told yet.
The bug is still in version 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2
