I might add that I got 1920x1200 to work in the same computer with
Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid). There was some hassle, perhaps changing between
the drivers a couple of times and a couple of reboots, but no tweaking
of xorg.conf, etc.

I'd like to add to this, that it only seems possible in Tracker to tag
files that come up as a search result. At least I have found no way in
Tracker to go through all my files one by one, folder by folder, and tag
them. It's easy to see that this makes tagging in Tracker impractical

after installing Tracker I now get often hundreds of search results for
a simple search in Nautilus, when I for example search for a single file
using some character string on it's name. I may know that there's only

I have the same issue with two different Corsair Flash Voyager thumb
drives on two different computers using Ubuntu 10.04. The computer
obviously can see the thumb drive at the boot (so the BIOS settings are
correct), but the screen stays black for the preset time, and then the
computer boots from

All of the regular keyboard buttons yield a response when I use keymap on

The only difference is that findkeyboards lists event12 and event14 instead of
event3 and event5 as before (and js0 still appears). The behavior is identical.

I'm trying to build Xubuntu-12.04-beta2).

CORRECTION: the keycode is not 135; that was the key next to it, which
already worked. However, II did find a keycode using the latest kernel.

Note that one of the keys I reported as not working actually works in
this latest kernel version (3.17.0-031700rc7-generic):. the key to the
right of the right-alt key. Its keycode is 135. Unfortunately, I could
not deduce its role, since I was unable to run any commands
(specifically xev) using a
