This link works. But only if do this: Right click on It works on Ubuntu 9.04

I guess there is no need to install 13.04 or 12.04 with kernel from
13.10. The disk tool shows low write speed in all of them for Kingston
DT Ultimate G3 (32GB). But I can do that if you want...
I can test the cache in Kingston DT Ultimate G3 (32GB), hope this not
destroy the disk, its new one.

It reach the max USB 2.0 read speed but the write speed is always low.

I had similar problem. I was unable to boot with new kernel and update-
initrams -u -k all caused that I couldn't also boot with old kernel. At
the end I tried to completly reinstall grub and all kernels through a
live cd - that did a trick. All works now. Here's short list of steps I

Currently I am not able to run apport-collect 1217966 tool because i
run Ubuntu with older kernel version (3.8.0-27) in order to get it to
work. As soon as the new kernel will be available in updates I will test
it and write the result here for sure. Now I am not sure if I want
install not tested
I use Ubuntu 13.04 (64-bit mode). ASUS laptop has UEFI.

'presentation mode'. I don't see memory problems neither in the
'standard mode' nor in the 'thumbnail mode'.

I had same problem on my amd64 computer trying to run gnome-disks's benchmark
from following ubuntu live CDs:
- 13.04 i386,
- 14.04 i386.
However I was able to run gnome-disks's benchmark when I booted my amd64
computer from:
- 13.10 amd64,
- 14.04 amd64.
Maybe this will help somebody...
