It seems to be a problem with dvips. I have attached the dvi- and ps-
file that lyx tried to create in /tmp. As you can see, the dvi-file
contains the LaTeX-Snippets that Lyx wanted to display, but the ps-file
is empty. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

image-2.6.27-10-generic (Version 2.6.27-10.20) is indeed in the
intrepid-proposed repository, and it does fix this bug. It is a

I have a similiar problem with a GeForce 8400GS and a Samsung SyncMaster
screen. The correct resolution is 1440x900x60, but it is detected as

When I plug my usb key the system block. I can't do any thing more. Then i it
very difficult to reboot the system. I tried to plug the usb key when I was in
terminal' mode (ctrl +alt+f1) and then i obtained the messages :

I forget to say that i have just updated in Ubuntu 8.0.4 (hardy) and
noyau linux 2.6.24.18 with gnome 2.22.2 memory 503.5Mio, processor AMD
Athlon (tm) and memory disk 29.4 Gio. et la mémoire physique 244.6
Mio sur 503.5 et le swap 400,0Kio sur 1.4Gio.
