The F6 key had num lock written on it and, depending on your pommed
settings, is activated via one keystroke or Fn+F6. I have mine set-up to
work on one click, but it doesn't work either way.

I'm getting the same issue on a fresh install of Intrepid Beta, fully
updated.
Connection keeps dropping, passwords are asked each time and performance
of the network is quite bad. lspci shows:

Doesn't work with Intrepid beta, fully updated. Function keys work fine
from a non-X VT, but not VT-7.
In a (maybe) related matter, the NumLock key(F6) doesn't seem to work
either, and neither it or the Caps Lock key illuminate when they are
active.

This is really odd, normally nvidia drivers are the benchmark for gl on
any display :-)
Can you please try running the launcher with `CLUTTER_VBLANK=none ume-
launcher` and see if you still get the same problem (try replacing the
exec line for ume-launcher in Preferences-Sessions-Startup Programs

Does this happen with all wallpaper or just certain pictures (I can't
reproduce it on my system)? If it's only some pictures, could you please
attach them to the bug so I can test it out.

Just to update, this bug affects a FreezeException we (the mobile-team)
are trying to get for clutter. We would like libclutter and related
libraries to be synced with unstable, which would update them to 0.6. As
the only other package in hardy that depends on clutter is
Hardy 2.6.24-12 NM-0.6.6 Madwifi svn r3367
Same problem with the madwifi drivers, they can see the networks, but
cannot connect to any of them (they all have WEP or WPA enabled). I
haven't been able to test with a network without security.

resize the window when the window undecorates. For hardy and intrepid,
we had a patched Metacity in our PPA, but for Jaunty, we sent the patch

This issue is caused by Nautilus afacit.
I've disabled every autostart program and the issue still occurred.
Then, removing nautilus from gconf (for gnome-session) stopped this
issue from occuring.
I believe it is because nautilus exits after starting up as it doesn't
need to draw the desktop so

Right, that is what is being proposed. However, that doesn't meant hat
it will be as quick as Gtk because everytime the gl 'scene' changes, the
software has to recompute what to display. However, I am hopeful that by
cutting out the animations and therefore decreasing the amount of scene
changes,
