I switched from KDE and couldn't quite believe that there really wasn't
an answer for Gnome, especially with the fantastic new multiple-desktop-

There is an epic thread on the forums with all sorts of hacky solutions
but none that will work well for laptop users who plug/unplug a lot.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5898116postcount=12 tested but
does not work.

I have a workaround: install Calibri (and related fonts) version 1.0 not

Public bug reported:
After installing nvidia proprietary driver and rebooting on a fresh natty amd64
install, I can only get to command line. Xorg.0.log states This server has a
video driver ABI version of 9.0 that is not supported by this NVIDIA driver.
Then a bit later on the log says:
Battle for Wesnoth implemented a workaround for the libsdl issue in the
1.8.x branch in svn commit r48934 and the 1.9.x trunk in svn commit
r48935. It should be available for the general public in the 1.8.6
maintenance release.

(http://www.transcoder.org/media/presets/xbmc4xbox.tar.bz2), I was

To manage notifications about this
just tried another 'preset' mode it seems that 'Arista' is having issues
Transcoding .mp4 to .avi specifically. transcoding to any other format
works just fine for instance .mp4 - .mkv

Please disregard my previous message. I misread the patch as being one
for Firefox. It is now clear to me that it is a patch for VLC. I will
test it later.
