in my case linux-headers-2.6.32-21-generic was installed.
I expected this package to be updated at the same time the new kernel 2.6.32-22
was installed.
However, it did not. When I recognized that the nvidia module failed to
build, I saw that linux-headers-generic was not installed. Installing
could this be a duplicate of Bug #575997 ?

kernel in directory v2.6.34-rc2-karmic from 06-Apr-2010 11:50, as this
was the newest with karmic in its name.
