I don't see anything wrong with the hotkey settings and don't know what
is wrong either. The only suggestion I can give is to try Live CD with
en_US locale.

Actually, after checking, I found that dapper's scim-bridge binary
package has NO file overlapping with 0.4.14-1's four binary packages.
So my previous statement was wrong, no Conflicts/Replaces relationship
is necessary. However, dapper users who installed scim-bridge will be
left with no upgrade
